| 1. There's no way a VG30DETT will make 500 crank HP at 12 psi; there's just not enough air IMO. As ZLover4Life mentioned NA will see higher per PSI power gains than a TT. 2. You can make higher peak boost by changing the SC pulley. However, that's not all that's needed to make power. Upgraded turbochargers can generate higher peak boost than most people can use. If people wanted to increase boost, they can just change their boost controller settings. The cost is in the support mods that are needed for detonation prevention, engine cooling, fuel delivery, etc. For 655 crank HP you'll need a lot of support mods; if you increase the boost without them, all you'll get is a BOOM. 3. Manufacturer claims should be taken with a grain of salt. 7% gain per PSI doesn't hold for our cars. 4. Superchargers have a lot of drag and they're not like alternator/power steering pulleys. Yours will easily take 50-60HP away at higher RPMs. In general, I expect a supercharged system to have lesser HP than a turbocharged system at the same boost and with the same mods. Low-end torque is another story though. Good luck to you and I look forward to seeing your progress updates and dyno charts.
